Epicentre West LA is a Jesus-following community committed to loving LA, living in LA, and leaving a legacy in LA.
In a city where so many people stay on the surface of relationships and conversations, we boldly talk about what's relevant in our world and in our lives through the lens of Scripture. We are counter-cultural and counter-Christian-cultural because the written Word and the Living Word are our true North. We are a home for people who want to see faith and action go hand in hand.
We are a place without pretense; we bring our authentic selves. We lead with disarming vulnerability. We’re down-to-earth and relatable. And yet we are unapologetically courageous and forward-thinking because of Jesus’ vision for every person. We don’t live by what we can do in our own wiring, skills, or know-how, but we are empowered by the Person and Power of the Holy Spirit.
Finally, we celebrate people whether it’s their first time or hundredth time with us. We’re a people and place where we see you, pursue you, and love you the way Jesus does. Here, everyone matters.

Envision the entertainment industry changing, where film and music industries tell epic stories with the creative thought-provoking ideas of God.
Envision startups where Christians begin with a Kingdom vision. This gets into their mission statement and core values. They aren’t trying to fit God into their plan, rather God is the mastermind of their business.
Envision families that see LA as a place of lifetime contribution, where kids are cultured: Jesus-cultured. They are student-missionaries who become champions of faith because they must engage their environments with the Person of Jesus.

Jeremiah 29.4-7
4 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: 5 “Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce. 6 Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease. 7 Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
Our mission is to become urban missionaries and love LA the way God loves LA. We’re resident missionaries who live in LA and embody LA language and culture. We’re giving our lives to change LA, change the World by leaving a lasting legacy in LA in order to see a city changed, a culture influenced, and the gospel move from the urban centers to the rest of the world for Jesus.
