Our Team
Kathryn preaches and teaches, provides pastoral care, and seeks to nurture the spiritual life of Epicentre West LA. She is passionate about joining God in shaping theology and forming hearts of His people, to see the church live in God’s Presence and mission through the unity and power of Spirit and Word. Kathryn received her MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary, and she resides in West LA with her husband Quen and their children Kara and Oliver.
Steph oversees our ministries, services, central leaders, and is at the forefront of strategic planning for Epicentre West LA. She works with intentionality and focus to see God's call on our church move forward. Steph served as campus ministry staff for 3 years at UCLA and as a missionary for 4 years in Beijing, China and Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia planting churches before joining the Epicentre team in 2014. She resides in West LA with her husband Alex.
Quen leads our team of lay elders. He is committed to leading our church to consistently say “yes” to Jesus through discipleship, pastoral care, and corporate exhortation. He is an infectious diseases physician at UCLA doing research in molecular immunology, and his passion is to see God glorified in all spheres of his life.
Shirley is responsible for creating a powerful and dynamic children's ministry for Epicentre West LA's children, parents, and children’s team. She has been serving Epicentre West LA since 2015. Shirley, her husband Yamato, and sons Jude, Tobias, and Casimir live in the neighborhood of Del Aire.
Alissa joined Epicentre's Staff Team as their Worship Director in 2015. Her main responsibilities are creating a worship culture at Epicentre West LA and ushering the church into worship. Alissa grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and went through YWAM's Discipleship Training School (DTS) in 2007. There she heard the Lord speak "Lead My people into worship." Having led people through worship, dance, and discipleship, Alissa also attended Bethel School of Music where she refined her gift and passion for worship leading. Alissa, her husband Matt, and their children, Emmy and Fletcher, live in the Valley.
Audrey led our digital ministry team before officially joining our staff in November of 2022. She is passionate about creating clear communication and organization among our ministries. She has a heart for the small details and goes the extra mile so all feel welcomed and valued. Audrey and her husband, Philip, live in Koreatown with their cat Greg.
